友人が、友人の教会で、日本の為にヤードセールを開いてくださることになりました。
私も値段付けなど、時間のある限りでおてつだいをしたいと思っています。

以下の文章が彼女から送られて来た本文です。
My church is going to have a yard sale on 6/18 in Fairfax to raise $ for Japan.
If you are interested in coming to it or inviting your friends the information is below.
We have a family who lives in Japan who is directly helping out the victims by delivering foods and items that are needed from where they live in Tokyo. They have made several trips to the effected areas to deliver things and our church is raising $ to send to them so they could continue providing what they can for the many victims and giving them hope.

Drop off-Time: Tues-Fri 9:30a-4p, please Call Ahead: 703-218-5450
Thurs. 9, 7-9p
Sat. 11, 11:30a-3:30p
For large furniture and BIG items, if they could drop off at the day of the yard sale on 6/18 (7:30a).
How to get into the office, it's a little tricky but not impossible.
Once you enter "FAIRFAX SQUARE" parking lot, our office is in the Allstate building directly behind the 2 flagpoles.
So walk through the main walkway and take 1st door on left to get into the building.
You will see a bridal shop on right and a Allstate on the left once inside, we are the door staight ahead.
Please make sure your friend calls ahead so someone is there at the office and can help them if they get lost.

今日はお手伝い、また寄付をしていただいた皆様ありがとうございました。
寄付を募っていた彼女達からもたくさんの感謝の言葉がありました。

いろいろご寄付いただいた皆様、大変ありがとうございました。
お天気もよく、全く人が途切れること無く、完売の状態で、2200ドル売り上げました。
本当にありがとうございました。直接ここの教会から、日本の提携している教会に送金され、
その方々が現地に直接入られるそうです。衣類や炊き出しに使われるといっていました。
また何かあればご連絡します。ご協力ありがとうございました！
